The Port of Sheerness is one of the UK's leading car handling terminals, with around 400,000 units crossing the quays each year. Capable of handling high and heavy vehicles, Sheerness is becoming a major player in the export of vehicles (including HGVs) to Africa, with regular RoRo services to / from both West and East Africa.

Sheerness has a current total of 260 acres of car compound areas linked to the port.

The port has also developed an expertise in the value added sector, including the full range of pre-delivery inspection (PDI) operations and other support services from paintshop to promotional work, which take place at the Automotive Services facility at Cullet Drive, Queenborough.

Sheerness has the ability within a single company to offer a full range of services including stevedoring, landing, park management, customs clearance, PDI, valet, painting and body shop, and fleet and promotional work.
